💼 Job Responsibilities

As a transport manager at Wiklunds, you are a central part of the operational business and contribute to ensuring safe and efficient transport. You will have daily contact with both customers and drivers, where you handle incoming orders, guide customers regarding waste services, and plan transport assignments for the company's vehicles. You work independently and systematically to lead and support the drivers in their daily work, always focusing on safety, quality, and service. The role also includes administrative tasks such as invoicing, follow-up on assignments, and documentation.

You will be part of a team of five transport managers and report to the department head. The position is located at the office in Kallhäll, Järfälla. Working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 16:00.

Job Responsibilities:

• Receive and plan incoming orders

• Guide customers regarding waste services

• Plan and allocate transport assignments for vehicles

• Lead and support drivers in their daily work

• Ensure that work is performed with a focus on safety, quality, and service

• Handle administrative tasks such as invoicing, follow-up, and documentation

• Maintain ongoing dialogue with customers, drivers, and colleagues to ensure smooth operations

🔍 Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities

• Background as a truck driver, preferably in waste management

• Good system knowledge and computer skills

• Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form

• Experience as a transport manager is an advantage

To succeed in the role of transport manager, you are positive, self-driven, and solution-oriented. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, can quickly adapt to changing conditions, and make quick, well-founded decisions. You work systematically and meticulously and have good communication skills.
